TEEN CENTER UPDATE: Thank You + We're Hiring for Director Position + Volunteers Needed đź’™
Before anything else, **thank you!**
The Teen Center has always been a community effort. Volunteers, families, local businesses, churches, donors, and neighbors have helped make it a place where teenagers can belong, build relationships, and know that adults in their community care about them.
As we prepare for the **2026–2027 school year**, we’re excited to take the next step—and we need your help!
📣 We’re Hiring a Teen Center Director!
We are looking for a **part-time Teen Center Director, approximately 10–15 paid hours per week**, to help lead the Teen Center into its next season.
The Director will help lead volunteers, build relationships with students and families, coordinate schedules and supplies, connect with the community, develop partnerships, and help strengthen the volunteer and financial support needed for the Teen Center to thrive.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Loves teenagers and enjoys building relationships
• Can lead, organize, and encourage volunteers
• Is dependable, relational, and willing to take ownership
• Enjoys connecting with people throughout the community
• Can build partnerships with businesses, organizations, churches, and families
• Wants to help invest in the future of our community’s teenagers
🏠When Will We Reopen?
Our goal is to reopen the Teen Center for the **2026–2027 school year** as soon as our Director and leadership team are in place.
When we reopen, we’ll begin with a **Tuesday–Thursday schedule**, with the hope of eventually expanding to Monday–Thursday as our volunteer team grows.
We believe starting with a few strong, well-supported days will give us a healthy foundation to grow from.
🙌 We Need Volunteers Too!
A Director is only one part of a healthy Teen Center. We need adults who are willing to invest in teenagers and help make this ministry possible.
You might serve directly with students, help with food or supplies, assist with events and projects, or help behind the scenes. **Every contribution matters!**
