As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, we are invited every day to reflect His character to the world around us. In Colossians 3:12–15, Paul gives us a beautiful blueprint for what that looks like in daily life: clothing ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and forgiveness. Above all of these virtues, we are called to put on love, which binds everything together in perfect unity, and to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts.

This passage is a powerful reminder that our faith is not just something we hold inwardly, but something we wear outwardly in how we treat others. It challenges us to extend grace when it is difficult, to forgive as freely as the Lord forgave us, and to actively pursue peace within our community. When we choose kindness over frustration and humility over pride, we create a space where Christ’s love is tangible to anyone who walks through our doors.

As you step into this week, take a moment to reflect: Which of these qualities is God inviting you to "put on" today? Let His peace guide your decisions, your conversations, and your relationships, and remember to carry a heart full of gratitude through every circumstance.

In the quiet hours before the cross, Jesus chose to pray directly for us. He didn't ask for earthly power, ease, or comfort for His followers. He prayed for our unity.

This verse holds a powerful truth:
Christian unity is not about uniformity, but about reflecting the divine love and harmony shared between the Father and the Son. When we choose patience over division, forgiveness over bitterness, and genuine community over isolation, we become living proof of the Gospel.

Jesus reminds us that the world catches its clearest glimpse of who He is when they see His people walking together in love. Our unity is a testimony. When we stand together as one body, rooted in Christ, we point an aching world toward the hope and grace found only in Him.

The simple truth of John 8:36 reminds us that true freedom isn't something we earn through our own efforts, but a grace offered freely by Jesus. We are reminded to live each day in light of that gift. How does knowing you are set free change your outlook as you go through your week? We are simply grateful for His grace and thankful to walk this journey together.

We touched on these verses a couple of Sundays ago, but they are worth taking a moment to slow down and really process.

It is easy to hear words like rebuke or repent and feel a bit on guard. But looking at Revelation 3:19-20, the foundation of that correction is love. Jesus is not standing at the door trying to break it down or demand entry; He is knocking and waiting for an invitation.

The image of sitting down to share a meal with Him is a gentle reminder of what He actually wants with us: fellowship, connection, and real relationship. He comes to the door, but we have to be willing to open it.

As we go through this week, let us take a moment to quiet the noise, listen for that knock, and make space at the table.
