Honor Fit

Hey Friends! We will be unable to meet in person in the month of March, but we do intend to provide video material for you to worship in your homes! We will create online events for those when we get dates nailed down. Although we will miss seeing your faces, we encourage you to use this online class as an opportunity to invite your friends and sisters in Christ into your own homes and watch the message and workout together.

What we love most about meeting with you in person is the energy that fills the room when the worship music is blaring and we get to witness you giving your best to God through effort and vulnerability. We've witnessed some really special moments between women who maybe didn't think they'd be in the same room. But God is just that good. So even though it's a bit of a bummer to not to have live classes over the next few weeks, that doesn't mean we still can't carry that into our own homes and friendships.

So I encourage you to start thinking of who you can invite to join you at your home for the next Honor fit online meeting. We will keep you posted with dates and times!

**HEART CHECK**

What keeps you from fully experiencing God? Can we just be real for a second?

The very reason why you see this post is a BIG part of why we don't experience God a lot of the time... SOCIAL MEDIA. We get caught up. We need to know whats going on. We are obsessed and certain we will miss out on something important if we don't check in to Facebook and Instagram 20 times a day. And what's even worse is we make our selves believe that if we follow the right people or catch a glimpse of some spiritual encouragement - we've had our dose of Jesus for the day. When really you've only received a small drop from the whole well.

Ready for the heart check? Ladies, there is not enough Jesus on social media to fill your void and right your wrongs. There's not enough Jesus to be found in the world through worldly things to save your seat in heaven.

Only the deep relationship with Jesus Christ can do that. The kind of relationship that wakes us up early to seek the word. That draws us away from worldly norms to draw us nearer to the cross.

It's great to follow uplifting people who remind you of spiritual truths, in fact I am so glad you are reading this - but just know this is not enough. Satan thrives on those "normal" habits.

If it feels normal or habitual, it's probably not right and it's probably not God.

** WEEKLY HEART CHECK **

Friends, We cannot wait to get back into the gym with you to gather as sisters and glorify God through our praise! IT was a gift to the both of us, and we just want you to know that. This week will also be great so be sure to come back, and if you didn't make it last week, be sure to being your self and a friend this week.

On Saturday, we talked about what was keeping us from experiencing God fully, being fulfilled by God first and foremost, and how we are being pursued by our heavenly father despite how much we stray.

In order to break down those barrier we establish between us and God, we prayed these prayers together that I want to remind you of:

Prayer 1: Lord, help me see myself through your eyes. Help me see myself as your child. So that I can better understand your love for me. - Is there a part of you who feels like you don’t truly know God? You know he’s there and he loves us, but do you really know how much he loves and cares for you? Pray for God to bring this to light for you

Prayer 2. Lord, cleanse and forgive my heart. - Is there something you need to be cleansed of or forgiven for? Bring it to the feet of our heavenly father.

Prayer 3. Lord, unsettle my heart. - What needs to be unsettled in you? What is that part of your life where you feel real comfortable, but you know it’s just not quite right?

We are often filled with things instead of God.

Food. Kids. Material Things. Men. Activities. Friendships. Jobs. Dreams. Money. Desires. Sleep. Inappropriate behaviors.

Even if they don't seem all bad - anything you put before your relationship with God is harmful to your faith. It's damaging because we begin to view God more as a book, a rule, a manager, rather than a father. Something or someone we can put off until later.

WE MUST NOT FORGET WHO MADE US, WHO LOVES US, WHO HOLDS THE WORLD AND WHO HOLDS OUR HEARTS. And most importantly - who blesses us with abundance of "gifts"... the same gifts that we choose before Him.

Challenge your mind and heart to be filled with the Lord first. Fill your heart with the un wavering love of the Lord before all else, and then protect it because everything else flows format (proverbs 4:23).

Re-pray those prayers right now.
And then sign up for our next class on Saturday. :)
