Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is waiting on the Lord. 🙏🏽 But Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. That means your waiting is not wasted. God is strengthening you, preparing you, and positioning you for what He has ahead.
If you’ve been praying, believing, and wondering when things will change, don’t give up in the waiting. Keep trusting God. Keep praying. Keep obeying. Keep believing. His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t feel that way.

Check out the sermon my husband preached on Sunday and be encouraged as you wait on the Lord.

I feel so blessed to celebrate another birthday!🎉🎊🎉
God has been so so good to me and I'm so grateful!

The best gift you can give to me is to let me know if there has been anything that I've shared that has been a blessing in your life!

I love serving the Lord and using my gifts to serve His people. I pray that you are blessed and encouraged as we ALL keep our faith and trust in Him!

How low can you go? 🤔
That’s the question in today’s A Few Minutes in the Word as we continue our series, Lessons from the Prodigal Son.

Sometimes we drift so far from God that we don’t even realize how far we’ve gone. But just like the Prodigal Son, there comes a moment when we have to “come to ourselves” and recognize, I need to get back to my Father.

The beautiful part? God isn’t waiting to condemn you—He’s waiting for you to come home. His arms are still open, and His heart is still reaching for you. ❤️

No matter how far you’ve wandered, you can always turn around and go back to God.

Sometimes the question isn’t “What do I have?” but “What am I doing with what God has entrusted to me?” 🙏🏽
Today, I’m starting a new series, Lessons from the Prodigal Son, and our first lesson is MISMANAGEMENT.
The Prodigal Son had an inheritance in his hands, but he didn’t manage it well. And if we’re honest, sometimes we can do the same thing. God has entrusted us with gifts, opportunities, relationships, finances, time, influence, and assignments—but are we being good stewards of them?
What has God placed in your hands that you may be allowing to go by the wayside?
Before we ask God for more, we have to take a look at how we’re managing what we already have.
This week, I challenge you to ask yourself: “Am I managing what God has entrusted to me in a way that honors Him?”
Let’s grow together as we uncover the lessons God has for us through the story of the Prodigal Son. ❤️

Sometimes the biggest thing standing between you and where God is calling you isn’t your circumstances—it’s your mindset. 🙏🏽
The Bible says, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” — 1 Corinthians 13:11
There are some ways of thinking, old beliefs, fears, insecurities, and limiting mindsets that served a purpose in a previous season—but they cannot come with you into your next one.
God is calling you higher, and higher requires higher thinking. 🙌🏽
You cannot step into a new season while continuing to think like the person you were in the old one. Sometimes the growth we are praying for requires us to change the way we see ourselves, our circumstances, our possibilities, and even what we believe God can do through us.
Ask yourself today: Am I thinking like the woman God is calling me to become, or am I still thinking like the woman I used to be?
It’s time to put away childish thinking. It’s time to renew your mind. It’s time to see yourself the way God sees you and align your thoughts with His Word.
Think higher. Believe bigger. Walk by faith. And let God transform your mind so your life can follow. ❤️
Join me for A Few Minutes in the Word as we grow, learn, and allow God to transform us from the inside out.

Where is YOUR Faith? 🌊🙏🏽
The storms of life have a way of revealing where we've placed our trust. Is your faith in your circumstances? Your job? Your spouse? Your finances? Your own abilities?

In Luke 8:22–25, the disciples were overwhelmed by the storm, but Jesus asked one powerful question: "Where is your faith?"

Today, I want to encourage you to examine your heart. Our faith was never meant to rest in temporary things—it should be anchored in God and God alone. When the winds rage and the waves rise, He is still in the boat, and He is still in control.

If you missed our August A Few Minutes in the Word Prayer Call, let this be your reminder to keep your eyes on the One who never fails.

✨ Mark your calendar and join us for our next A Few Minutes in the Word Prayer Call on Monday, September 7, 2026, at 7:00 AM ET / 6:00 AM CT. Come expecting a brief time of prayer, encouragement, and God's Word to strengthen your faith before you begin your week.

Invite a friend, and let's grow in faith together. ❤️

Faith It Until You Make It!
What if your breakthrough isn't waiting on more faith—but on you choosing to use the faith you already have?
Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible. He didn't say you needed perfect faith or giant faith. He said you just need faith that believes God enough to keep trusting Him, even when you can't yet see the outcome.
So don't give up. Don't stop praying. Don't stop believing. Keep trusting God's promises and keep moving forward in obedience. Your small seed of faith is in the hands of a big God.
Join me for this week's A Few Minutes in the Word as we talk about what it means to faith it until you make it—because with God, nothing is impossible.
✨ What are you believing God for today? Share it in the comments so we can believe together.

ACT LIKE IT!
If you say you believe God, does your life reflect it?

It's easy to say we have faith, but James 2:26 reminds us that "faith without works is dead." Real faith doesn't just believe God's promises—it responds to them.

If you're praying for the opportunity, are you preparing for it?

If you're believing for healing, are you thanking God before you see the outcome?

If you're trusting God for your next level, are you taking the steps He's already told you to take?

Faith isn't passive. Faith moves. Faith obeys. Faith acts like God is faithful to His Word.

Join me for this week's A Few Minutes in the Word as we talk about what it really means to put your faith into action.

✨ What promise are you trusting God for—and what step of faith can you take today?

TRY IT AGAIN.
Have you ever felt like you've done everything you knew to do... and still came up empty?

Peter and the other fishermen had worked all night and caught nothing. They were experienced. They knew the water. They knew the process. But when Jesus stepped into the situation, He gave them one simple instruction: "Cast your net on the right side."

The difference wasn't the net.

The difference wasn't the boat.

The difference was Jesus.

Sometimes our breakthrough isn't found in trying harder—it's found in trusting Him enough to try again at His direction.

Maybe you've prayed before. Applied before. Stepped out before. Believed before. Don't let yesterday's disappointment keep you from tomorrow's miracle.

When Jesus is in it, everything changes.

Join me for this week's A Few Minutes in the Word as we discover why your next "try" may be the one God uses to overflow your life with His blessings.

✨ What has God been asking you to try again? I'd love to hear in the comments.
