I am not the Founder of RLCWC, started the Ministry but not Founder!! Resurrection Life Christian Worship Center formally historic First Baptist Church was (founded in 1871) is on the historic registry and we embrace historic Liturgy and Pentecostal fervor. We do hold in tension a call to spirit-filled living and social renewal, through the teaching of the Word of God; which will transform lives.

We are a Praying People, a Powerful People, a Purposeful People, a Praising People. In April the Executive Board voted to change the name of the church. A application was submitted to the Secretary of the State of NC requesting a name change from ‘First Baptist Missionary Church. On April 15, 2013 we received the certificate of satisfaction. The church is now Resurrection Life Christian Worship Center.
