Resilient Go Ministries – 2025 Year in Review
This year has been an incredible journey of ministry, outreach, and growth for Pastor Teeter, his family, and the Resilient Go Ministries team. From local service to international missions, God has opened doors for impact in powerful ways.
Throughout 2025, Pastor Teeter led four chapels at Kershaw Correctional Facility, with one more scheduled for December 14th. Elder Rameesh joined him for most of these services, and together they shared the hope of Christ with men who deeply needed encouragement. On December 5th, the team returned to Kershaw for a special holiday event—serving a delicious meal to 300 men and hosting a program featuring four of our musicians. For several songs, they partnered with the Kershaw Choir, creating a beautiful atmosphere of worship. Eleven volunteers from seven different churches and ministries came together for this event, showing the unity of the Body of Christ. Over 30 decisions for Jesus were made this year, but even more important, relationships with Him are being strengthened.
In November, Pastor Teeter and his daughter Katelyn joined the Hope Street Food Pantry team to serve over 700 families during the pre-Thanksgiving outreach. With rising food costs, this event was especially meaningful—and it was a blessing to see Katelyn serving alongside her dad. Earlier in the month, Pastor Teeter played a key leadership role at the AG North Carolina Youth Conference with Hope City Youth. Over 1,000 students attended the conference themed “Revival,” and many were impacted by the gospel. That same weekend, Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) had its first NC regular season competition. Caleb, Pastor Teeter’s son, was the top quizzer, and his team, Chosen Generation, went undefeated! A few days later, Teen Bible Quiz held its second regular season meet, where Pastor Teeter coached Katelyn’s team to an undefeated record. Katelyn placed second overall, and her teammate earned top quizzer honors.
December brought more JBQ excitement as Caleb competed in a tournament at Lake Wylie Christian Church in South Carolina. Out of seven teams plus a virtual round, Caleb was the top quizzer every round, finishing with an impressive 143 average out of a perfect 160! Pastor Teeter coached the team, which won every round except against a veteran teenage team.
Beyond these events, Pastor Teeter and Melissa continued their partnership with Epiphany Ministry, serving young men at the local Youth Detention Center. A few months ago, they spent an entire Saturday introducing these youth to Jesus—and around 20 made decisions for Christ! Twice a month, they return to lead small-group discipleship sessions, always bringing food to build relationships and share God’s love.
At Hope City Church, Pastor Teeter and Melissa serve faithfully as youth leaders. They oversee Youth Fine Arts at the North Expression and lead yyouth small-group Bible studies—teaching Ephesians in the spring and Matthew in the fall. For the holiday break, each leader wrote a devotional from the book of Mark. Pastor Teeter also teaches children involved in JBQ and helps lead with Charlotte Indian Christian Fellowship and he serves on the First Impressions team for Hope City, most often on the security team. Melissa is a vital part of the Hope City Worship Team, leading others into God’s presence.
This summer was marked by numerous ministry milestones. Pastor Teeter and his family led a missions team to the Dominican Republic, using JBQ as a key outreach tool. Soon after, they traveled to Chicago for the National JBQ Festival, where Caleb’s team who had won the Southeast Region title and North Carolina represented well! At the end of June, Pastor Teeter and Katelyn attended the Teen Bible Quiz National Festival in St. Louis. Later in the summer, Pastor Teeter, Melissa, Katelyn, and Fine Arts coaches Elizabeth and Alice went to Orlando for AG National Pastors Meetings, National Youth Conference, and Fine Arts Festival. Katelyn placed 4th in the nation in Essay and Human Video Solo Jr.—a tremendous accomplishment!
Pastor Teeter also continues his role as an instructor for Piedmont Community College, teaching at the Charlotte Detention Center. Since starting in July 2024, he has seen many students graduate with their HiSET (GED), helping them take steps toward a brighter future. In September 2025, he began graduate studies through Vision Bible College and Seminary, pursuing a Master’s in Ministry Leadership—a 16-month program that reflects his commitment to lifelong learning and equipping for effective ministry.
