As a proud native of Michigan, my journey to the Queen City of Charlotte has given me a unique perspective, deep compassion for people, and a heart committed to serving the entire community. Charlotte is not just where I live its home, and I genuinely care about the future of every neighborhood, every family, and every generation in this city.

I believe leadership is about bringing people together, not dividing them. I have the grace, wisdom, and ability to work with all people regardless of race, background, political affiliation, or economic status. My passion has always been about building bridges, restoring hope, and creating real solutions that impact everyday lives.

If I were to run, Charlotte would witness something different leadership rooted in compassion, accountability, vision, and action. Not politics as usual, but a movement centered around people, unity, safety, opportunity, and transformation.

You would witness a leader that listens to the community, walks with the people, and fights for the future of this city with integrity and purpose.

As we commemorate the sacred and joyful season across our nation, our thoughts turn toward healing - healing in our homes, communities, and systems.

The current state of policing is often broken, with communities' perceptions deeply rooted in the harm caused by detrimental policies and practices.

Conversely, there are numerous dedicated law enforcement officers whose exemplary work and character are eclipsed by flawed policing policies and a broken culture. The fundamental truth remains that trust can only be established through relationships. Building relationships, rather than merely increasing arrests, fosters genuine trust within our communities.

Unfortunately, many individuals, particularly Black men, are often feared before they are understood, while officers are frequently judged based on the worst examples of their profession. Mutual respect and effective communication are essential in building trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

At Pivot America, we firmly believe that healing is achievable. We advocate for justice tempered with compassion, accountability accompanied by dignity, respect in all interactions, relationships built on understanding rather than stereotypes, and communication instead of confrontation.

This season reminds us that even in darkness, light can prevail. By working together, communities and law enforcement can transition from fear to understanding, from hurt to healing, and from division to partnership. We invite you to partner with Pivot America to unmute voices, restore trust, and build safer, stronger, and more united communities. Currently, we are gathering data from citizens across various cities, regions, and states.
