At The Tribe of Marketplace Ministers we believe God has graced each person with certain talents, passions and gifts. These talents and passions most often, become the basis for your marketplace ministry. For some others who happen to be entrepreneurs, their business becomes the pulpit God has given them to reach lost souls and to live as examples for the world to see. The Bible says in Ephesians
4:11 that “Christ Himself, gave some to be apostles, prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and from, and carried about with every wind of doctrine..”
The five fold ministry expressions are given to equip the saints for the work of ministry – whether marketplace ministry or pulpit ministry. We believe that your God-given talents or passion can then be expressed as an apostolic mandate, a prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral or teaching mandate. For instance a person who has a natural passion over women being abused or disempowered, may have a prophetic mandate to help women find their God-given purpose. Someone else may have a talent and natural flare to work with children, that mandate may express itself as a Pastoral call. We help you channel your natural talent/gifts and passions into what we call marketplace ministry. We are here to equip and empower you so you feel you are in your natural element to fulfil the great commission.
