We were pleased to celebrate the fourth Sunday of Advent with our friends at Brightmore of South Charlotte, where we shared in a pre-service time of carols and donuts, fostering a sense of community and fellowship.

It's time to bring joy to our community! Our annual Christmas Shop is happening soon, and we need your help to make it a success for local families.
Mark your calendars! The shop will be open on Friday, December 5th, and Saturday, December 6th at Good Shepherd Presbyterian on Rea Road.
🎁 How You Can Help
We need lots of hands and hearts to make the magic happen. Please sign up for one of the following critical roles:
1. Volunteer Roles (Personal Time)
Personal Shoppers: Take parents around the shop to help them select the perfect toys and coats for their children.
Setup/Teardown Team: Help us set up the shop the week before, and break it down on Saturday afternoon, December 6th.
Hospitality Team: Work in the Hospitality area, serving cookies and hot beverages to our visiting parents.
2. Donation Roles (Goods & Buying)
Cookie Bakers: Make or buy cookies to be served in the Hospitality area.
Coat & Toy Buyers: Purchase new coats, toys, hats, gloves, and scarves.
Food Bag Fillers: Take a red bag and purchase the specific non-perishable items that go inside.
⏰ Urgent Donation Deadline
All donated items (food bags, toys, coats, hats, etc.) must be dropped off no later than Sunday, November 30th. We need time to sort and organize everything before the shop opens!

The Charlotte Moravian Collaborative Clothing Closet at Little Church on the Lane has needs for additional clothing. Our refugee ministry partners in Charlotte have informed us that they have taken in a large number of families from Asheville and Boone. As a result, our appointments to provide clothing are rising rapidly and we are in need of clothing, especially winter clothing. If you are considering a fall or winter clothing purge, please consider donating to this ministry. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
