The 4th Sunday of Easter features a Gospel about the Good Shepherd and so is always known as "Good Shepherd Sunday" and a day to pray for vocations to church service.

Nicholas, 4th C bishop is patron of children, sailirs, pawnshops, and is the original Santa!
As you may know, many circus clowns off the road are part of the bearded brotherhood that brings joy to many during this season.
This morning - like every Dec. 6 - I said Mass "for all the Santas" who work hard as signs of hope and of God's generous love. Say a prayer for them today!
