Meet Sam Bradley—a man who’s been walking the trail with New Wilderness as a Guide trainee since 2022.
Sam carries a deep heart for men and a desire to see them encounter Christ in real, lived ways. Through Guide Training, he’s found a way to bring that calling together with his love for the outdoors—creating space where men can step out of the noise and into something deeper.
“I’m just a few steps ahead of the men I walk with.”
That’s how Sam sees it—not as an expert, but as a fellow traveler. A man walking alongside others as they discover Christ for themselves.
He paints a picture that feels familiar to what we’re about:
Jesus walking dusty roads with His disciples…
Sitting around a fire late at night…
Talking about the Father while some drift off in hammocks after a long climb…
That’s the Christ Sam has come to know. And that’s the Christ he wants other men to encounter.
You’ll often find Sam fly fishing, camping, hiking, or riding horseback—not just because he enjoys it, but because those are the places where walls come down and real conversations begin.
“We are going down the road of life together.”
