The Piedmont Fellows visit a leader in our community every Friday for our Faith and Vocation speaker series. This Friday we are excited to visit Joyce Rice, a Business Service Consultant for GuilfordWorks. Joyce is currently involved with Leadership High Point and leads speaking engagements. We are excited to hear her wisdom later today!!

Taking notes is a great way to remember what has happened during meetings. When your weeks are filled with a wide range of information they can help you keep facts separate.

One professional development speaker had even gone so far as to say that the one who takes notes is the one who has power. It helps you remember what you are responsible for so you don't leave tasks undone.

Now that Christmas and New Year Break are over for the Fellows, they get to jump back in to meeting up with local business owners. This week we had Cecil Little Owner of AAA Storage as our vocational speaker.

The Fellows are following along intently as Cecil shares not only the story of how he got to where he is but some key points he thinks are important for young professionals.

There's something special about joining others in a community mission. The Piedmont Fellows Director, Mike Gatton, usually has the pleasure of leading young leaders through an intentional cohort on mission, but this year, he is going through a similar experience himself through Leadership High Point.

Leadership Development requires intentional pursuit. It is great to know our community leaders are supporters of growth in our young leaders.

The personalities of the Prophet, Priest, and King! Christ of course is the perfect balance of the three. Humans who are made in the image of God can find their personality influenced by these three.

If you look at the triangle diagram you can see where we would place ourselves. (This was a very subjective active but also very fun!)

Wednesday Nights this last fall were called Family Dinner. We mainly spent them at the Merritt House. We got to enjoy the 4 Merritt kids, Larkin, and Phillip. We spent that time getting to know each other by sharing our stories and studying the word together.

There were also many fun stories that helped us keep the balance of funny and deep relationships with Cohort 5.

Thank you Merritt Family for being so hospitable to us!

As each year ticks by the masses create new and improved resolutions. They come in many shapes and sizes such as health and fitness, reading, professional development, adventure, bucket lists, spiritual and so many others. Some of them stick and some of them don't.

As we are looking at the end of 2021 and the start of 2022 its a good time to look at some ways the program has been a benefit for previous young professionals. It can help coming up college graduates know how we can benefit them. This will help us build a strong 6th Cohort of Fellows who are looking to grow in similar ways. who was part of our 3rd Cohort had some thoughts to share on how the program help him as a young professional.

The Fellows were able to attend the prayer breakfast. It was a great time to get to see different members of the community.

Why is prayer important for the community, a business, or personal life? As our Pastor says Prayer if the lifeblood of the church. We cannot change things ourselves but God is able to change everything. This season is a reminder of how much He can change.
