Thank you to Pastor Mark Hovis and Plainview Baptist Church for partnering with us to host a “First Pitch” dinner for North Gaston Baseball. We had a great turn out of players and parents. Pastor Mark Hovis will be walking the team through the 2026 FCA theme “Proven” this season.
Plainview also provided the meal!
Coach Hepler and the team are expecting big things this season!

A special thank you to Pastor Chris Parker and Walnut Grove Church for partnering with us to provide a “first pitch” dinner to Bessemer City Baseball. Student Pastor and Coach Michael Howard gave a message, launching the 2026 Ministry Theme of “Proven.” This year BCHS baseball will walk through the Proven theme learning what it means to bear much fruit and prove to be a disciple of Christ. Also a special thank you to Dino’s Italian Pizzeria for donating the meal for this event!

Saturday was a day filled with local FCA jamborees! Our staff and dedicated volunteers had the opportunity to serve 19 local baseball, softball, and girls soccer teams from across the area! We got to feed them and share the gospel of Jesus with them! Thank you all who had a hand in making it possible, yesterday was a good day!

This morning we had our first ever FCA campus huddle at Southwest Middle! Thank you Mr. Jason Brown for putting this together! Their campus huddle will meet every Tuesday morning from 7:45am-8:20am in the media center!
