There will be a Ministry Fair for all ages tomorrow (Sunday, August 30) from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Come meet leaders from more than 30 Inreach and Outreach ministries, discover ways to share your gifts, and enjoy a festive atmosphere! St. Alban’s is hiring Nursery Workers!

We are looking for dedicated nursery employees for every Sunday 9am-12pm (Summer hours 10am-12pm). We also have voluntary shifts occasionally available. This is a paid position ($15/hr) subject to background check and interview. Responsibilities include caring for children under the age of 4 during Sunday School and service, cleaning up toys and the space at the end.

Join us Sunday, August 23, during the 10:30 a.m. service for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks.

Whether you're in preschool, grade school, college, graduate school, or you're a teacher or school staff member, you are invited to bring your backpack, bookbag, or simply yourself to receive a special blessing for the year ahead.

After the service, stick around for our Back to School Bash, hosted by the Ministry of Fun in the Parish Hall!

Our Outreach team partnered with Gethsemane Baptist Church to collect and deliver school supplies to Winding Springs Elementary. They also hosted a continental breakfast for the (very deserving) teachers and staff as they prepare for the students to arrive next week. Many thanks to all at St. Alban’s for your time and contributions!

Our staff tested out the new “prayground” in the nave and they have declared that it is ready for your kids! This soft & sacred space with board books and quiet fidget toys will welcome families on Sundays, and then will transition back to our chapel for Morning Prayer on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
