Even as the weather keeps us from gathering today, Jesus still meets us where we are.
Blessed, Not Broken
Matthew 5:1–12
In the Beatitudes, He speaks to people who feel tired, overlooked, grieving, or worn down—and He calls them blessed. Not because life is easy, but because God is near.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit… those who mourn… the meek…” These words remind us that our struggles do not disqualify us from God’s grace. They are often the very places where God’s kingdom breaks through. What the world may label as weakness, Jesus names as blessing.
So today, though we are not together in person, we hold onto this truth: we are not broken beyond hope—we are blessed by a God who sees us, walks with us, and promises comfort, mercy, and joy that no storm can take away. Stay safe, stay prayerful, and rest in the blessing of God’s presence.

Due to inclement weather, we are not gathering in person today. As we reflect on Matthew 4:12–23, we remember that when circumstances changed, Jesus adjusted His movements but did not stop His mission. Today, we invite you to remain connected by taking time at home to pray, read this passage, and reflect on Christ’s call to “follow me” and to be light where you are. Please prioritize safety, stay attentive to God’s Word, and look for ways to live out the gospel in your homes and communities. We look forward to gathering again soon.
