We are excited to announce Leslie and Amanda Overcash as the new Artistic Director and Accompanist of the Lenoir-Rhyne Youth Chorus!

As a team, with a deep connection to music and Lenoir-Rhyne, Leslie and Amanda are excited to help lead LRYC into its next chapter. We are looking forward to an exciting season of music, community, and growth.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary at 5:00 pm. Visitation with the family will be 4:30 - 5:00 pm. Pastor Ryan Gladden will give the eulogy.

This week, we’re celebrating one of our own!

Amanda Overcash has been serving as organist for Family Bible Conference at Bonclarken, using her gifts to lead worship through music. We are grateful for her faithful ministry, not only there this week, but every Sunday here at First ARP.

We’re thankful to have Amanda (and Will!) representing our church family, and we hope they’ve had a wonderful week of worship, fellowship, and renewal.

What a wonderful week at Bonclarken Music Conference!

This year’s theme, “The Lord Is My Shepherd,” reminded us of God’s faithful care as we worshiped, learned, and made music together. We are thankful for this time of fellowship, growth, and praising God.
