Kingdom Hearts begins with Sora trying to find the friends he’s lost, but somewhere along the way he discovers something even bigger: our hearts are shaped by the people we let into them.

Sora’s strength doesn’t come from pretending he can handle everything alone. Again and again, he survives because of friendship, trust, and the bonds he’s built across worlds. “My friends are my power” may be extremely Kingdom Hearts, but it’s also a pretty solid reminder for the rest of us.

God looks at the heart, and our hearts were never meant to make the journey alone. Wherever today takes you, remember the people who have helped carry you—and know there’s room for you here, too.

Even when the road ahead feels too hot to handle, wisdom reminds us to slow down before we spill over.

Elder Kettle is a reminder that guidance can be its own kind of courage. Not the flashy kind. Not the loud kind. The kind that has lived long enough to know when to warn, when to encourage, and when to send someone forward with love.

So if you’re in a season where everything feels urgent: sip slowly. Listen to the steady voices. Let patience do its work before you rush into the next fight. Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is receive the care that helps you keep going.

One of the things Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order does so well is let us sit with Cal Kestis in the middle of grief, failure, and loneliness without pretending those things are easy. He’s carrying loss, trying to rediscover purpose, and learning that hope is not something you feel once and keep forever—it’s something you return to, again and again.

That’s part of why the game resonates so deeply. Cal’s journey isn’t about never struggling. It’s about continuing forward, learning from failure, and trusting that healing can happen in community.

That feels true to faith, too. We all have moments where the path feels uncertain, where we wonder if we’ve fallen too far or failed too badly. But grace makes room for restoration, and the people of God are meant to help carry one another’s burdens along the way.

So if today has felt heavy, let this be your reminder: failure is not the end, hope can survive, and you do not have to carry everything by yourself. Rest here a while. BD-1’s on watch. 💙

Even when the galaxy feels too big and the shadows feel too many, the right companion can make the next step possible.

BD-1 is a reminder that help does not have to be huge to be holy. Sometimes hope sounds like a chirp, a scan, a nudge toward the path you missed. Sometimes loyalty looks like someone staying close while you heal, climb, stumble, and try again.

So if you feel like you’re carrying the mission alone: look for the small lights beside you. Let people help. Let your courage be rebooted by care. And when someone else is lost in the dark, be the little companion who reminds them they are not alone.
