Return to Your Rest
As you step into a new week, remember: we cannot pour from an empty vessel. Make it a priority to sit at the Father’s feet and allow Him to refresh your heart, renew your mind, and refill your spirit.
“Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.” — Psalm 116:7
Rest is not weakness, it is worship. It is in His presence that we are restored, strengthened, and prepared for all He has called us to do this week. Click the link in the bio to join our group!!!

There comes a point where we realize we can’t keep pouring from an empty cup.

Jesus, despite carrying the weight of the world, intentionally withdrew to rest, pray, and spend time with the Father. If the Son of God made room for rest, perhaps we need to ask ourselves… why don’t we?

Join us this Thursday as we gather for an encouraging conversation on:

🌿 Rest: A Holy Invitation

Together we’ll explore what Scripture teaches about biblical rest, why we often struggle to slow down, and how trusting God allows us to exchange striving for peace.

💜 Woman Refine Gratitude Challenge – Week 2

Theme: The Blessings We Often Overlook

“There’s a roof up above me, I’ve a good place to sleep, there’s food on my table and shoes on my feet…”

As we enter Week 2 of our Gratitude Challenge, I want us to slow down and reflect on something we often take for granted—the everyday blessings that quietly surround us.

It’s easy to thank God for the big things: answered prayers, promotions, healing, new opportunities, and milestones. But what about the things that have become so familiar that we hardly notice them anymore?

A roof over our heads.
A bed to sleep in.
Food in the refrigerator.
Clean water.
Transportation.
Family and friends who love us.
The ability to wake up and start a new day.

The chorus of this song reminds us that true gratitude isn’t found in having everything we want—it’s found in recognizing what God has already provided.

Sometimes we spend so much time focusing on what’s missing that we overlook what is present.

The truth is, many of the things we call “ordinary” are actually answers to prayers someone else is praying today.

Psalm 103:2 reminds us:

“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits.”

This week, let’s challenge ourselves to notice the little things. The blessings that don’t make headlines. The provisions we have grown accustomed to. The daily evidence of God’s faithfulness.

✨ Reflection Questions

1. What is one everyday blessing you often overlook?
2. How has God provided for you in ways you’ve come to expect?
3. What “ordinary” thing are you grateful for today?

🫙 Gratitude Jar Reminder

This week, instead of writing down only major blessings, add at least one small blessing each day to your gratitude jar.

Maybe it’s:

* A peaceful morning
* A kind conversation
* A good meal
* Safe travel
* A moment of laughter
* A quiet moment with God

The little things add up to a life filled with God’s goodness.

Week 2 Challenge: Before you go to bed each night, thank God for three things you normally wouldn’t think to mention.

💜 Share one “little blessing” in the comments below. Let’s encourage one another by celebrating God’s faithfulness in the everyday moments.

Paul told Timothy 25 times to be strong because he knew the work God called him to would require endurance, faith, and courage. The same is true for us today.

Whatever season you are in, don’t give up. Don’t grow weary. God has already given you the grace you need for the assignment He has placed before you.

“You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” — 2 Timothy 2:1

My fellow sisters in Christ, be strong, be courageous, and keep pressing forward. God is with you. 🤍

What Type of Heart Are We Cultivating?
📖 Luke 8:4–15

Jesus compares our hearts to different types of soil. The seed is always good — it is the Word of God — but growth depends on the condition of the heart receiving it.

✨ The Wayside Heart — hears the Word but never truly receives it.
✨ The Rocky Heart — receives the Word with excitement but falls away when trials come.
✨ The Thorny Heart — allows worries, distractions, and desires to choke spiritual growth.
✨ The Good Soil Heart — receives the Word, protects it, nurtures it, and produces fruit.

Sometimes we ask God for growth while avoiding the process that cultivates healthy soil. God is not just concerned about what we hear — He cares about how we respond to it daily.

💭 Reflection:
What has been competing for space in your heart lately?
Are you making room for God’s Word to take root and grow?

🙏🏽 Prayer:
Lord, soften my heart so Your Word can take deep root in me. Remove distractions, fears, and anything that keeps me from growing closer to You. Help me become good soil that produces fruit for Your glory. Amen.

✨ Gentle reminder for the woman who has been pouring into everyone else while quietly wondering if she is still worthy of being chosen with care…

You do not have to beg for softness.
You do not have to shrink yourself to be loved.
You are worthy of kindness, patience, peace, and intentional love. 🤍

“I am lovable enough to be chosen gently.”

Sis, let this be the season where you stop settling for survival and start embracing the love, healing, and wholeness God has for you. 🌿
