On Saturday, Calvary Church of the Nazarene will be hosting the memorial service for one of our beloved Wilora Lake community members, Willie Higgins. Family, friends, and neighbors are invited to join as we honor Willie and his life.

Willie Higgins Jr.
August 24, 1951 – February 25, 2026

Willie Higgins Jr. passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 74.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Willie is survived by his son, Willie E. Higgins III; his daughter, Sherri M. Higgins; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. His memory will live on through the family he loved and the lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held on April 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 4000 N Sharon Amity Rd, Charlotte, NC 28205.

He will be remembered with love and cherished always.
