Corn is coming along at 8'. Started the pollination process this afternoon.

An absolute beautiful morning at Briar Patch (little garden in the alley). Solid turnout of club members. Bountiful harvest. Ellen with the pickle award for managing the best flower sale in history and managing the early riser's session.

Cindy with the early bird award (fresh ripe cantaloupe) and Patti with the GOAT Award.

Little garden was flush for harvest. Please be patient as the cantaloupe ripen. But the edamame is in full harvest mode. Everyone took home a bucket of edamame. Cucumbers, peppers, okra, and basil are all prime time here in early August.

You can tell the drip irrigation was not sabotaged at the little garden.

Big day at Boulder Park garden today. 18 volunteers working in shifts from 7 am to noon.
Lost some tomato cucumber, and pepper plants in July due to the heat, lack of rain and an isue with our irrigation. Seems as though a "helpful neighbor" kept turning our irrigation off.

Had to deploy a couple of GoPro motion cameras to figure it all out. Problem solved. Drip irrigation looks like there are leaks. It's all on a timer. The culprit kept reaching over or through the fence to turn off different spigots.

Video at 11 pm tonight. Should be entertainment.

Vic with the GOAT Award for the day. Showed up early, worked through some pest related issues and finished strong.
