Over the past 10 years, Alabama Baptists have filled almost 120,000 backpacks for children primarily in the Mississippi River Delta. Since 2022, we have also provided Christmas Backpacks through the ministry of our Alabama Baptist Church Planters in underserved areas of our state.

Because of all these backpacks, thousands have heard the Gospel and made professions of faith. God is using Christmas Backpacks to grow His Kingdom!

This year, Alabama Baptists are challenged to provide at least 15,000 filled backpacks, bringing the Gospel to many who have never heard.

A reminder that Samford MTI (ministry training institute) classes begin tonight.
Bro. Bill Russell teaches this class. This course is designed to give students a survey of the life of Jesus using a harmonious approach with the Gospel narratives. From his pre-incarnate ministry to his ascension this survey will examine the various highlights of his life and ministry for students to better understand our commitment to him through our Christian witness. NOTE: This location will offer Zoom as an option for attending class.

Through local extension sites, participants receive theological education guided by qualified instructors and a unified curriculum
