I will be going back to the ER tomorrow to get checked and evaluated for pneumonia again. I’m posting so all of my prayer warriors on here will know and can be praying for me. I’m so tired and exhausted and my family is doing everything they can to make me better and get me stronger and it seems like we just keep getting knocked down. My God is bigger than this and I still have hope and am still fighting. But this is just very defeating and depressing and I need all of my army in my corner right now just praying for healing and for this all to finally go away. Pray for new strength and healing please!

New Abbie update (Monday 2:30)
I just received this BEAUTIFUL text from Abbie so I will just copy and paste what she sent me! ☺️
🌸 🩷 🌸
I am feeling like an actual human today! I’m gaining some of my body strength back and I am praising God for restoring me each and every second!

Medicines for pneumonia and sepsis are being lowered today and I am off of oxygen as of yesterday morning! I am breathing much better and breathing on my own! The last two days I have gotten out of the bed and walked a little and gained some muscle strength back! The doctors are saying I should be able to come home Thursday. Everything from surgery is healing nicely and I will have temporary drain tubes to keep the fluid off so the fluid doesn’t cause any more issues. I should start new chemo next week and go from there 😍 Praise Jesus for His healing touch!

Abbie is having surgery at 11 this morning to drain the fluid on her lungs and put drain tubes in. This should give her a lot of relief and aid in her healing. Please pray everything goes smoothly. We still ask for no visitors today, thank you for understanding! Thank you for all of the love and support and prayer ❤️

From Abbie:
A lot has changed over night with my case. Please be patient with my family if you are asking and waiting for updates. We would like to ask that no visitors come by the hospital at this time. I will be needing immediate surgery to get rid of the fluid on my lungs and we are having to quickly and stressfully make a lot of decisions right now. Thank you all for being respectful and patient and thank you for being present and praying for us. We love you all and we will update soon.

I just talked to Abbie and here is where she is in this journey:
👇🏼
They are treating her with broad spectrum antibiotics to get whatever infection is sepsis in her blood.
🌸
They believe she has had pneumonia on her left side.
🌸
They have kept her on oxygen because she is still having trouble breathing.
🌸
They are treating her for thrush in her mouth.
🌸
They are giving her a blood transfusion tonight due to anemia.
🌸
They will be keeping her again and decide in the morning where to go from here.
💜🙏🏻
Prayer Warriors bridge the gap for those who are too tired and weary to pray.
When you’re in the valley, sometimes you just don’t have the strength to form the words…
WE ARE HER WARRIORS and she needs us to BRIDGE THE GAP!

If everyone could UP their prayers, Katie just left my house and told me that Abbie has been admitted into the hospital.
She has pneumonia and is septic.
Fervent prayers are needed so if you have time and even if you don’t, please take a few minutes and pray!

Today went much better than last time she had the fluid drained and she is feeling better!
She had enough energy to make it into Cracker Barrel which is a lot more energy than she has had recently!

Please be in prayer 🙏🏻 this morning as Abbie goes to have the fluid drained from her lungs.
Last time did NOT go smoothly.
We are praying that things will go smoothly this time and that Abbie will get some much needed relief.
She is exhausted right now and struggling to walk due to not being able to breathe properly.
We are praying for ultimate healing for sweet Abbie!

We are so sorry it’s been so long since we have posted about Abbie but there has been a lot going on.
Here’s where we are:

Abbie now has a new oncologist and he is amazing! Everyone feels very positive about this change!

She met with a surgeon to discuss draining fluid off of her lungs with a more extensive surgery but the surgeon was not nice! 😡
As a matter of fact, he was so rude, they left and won’t be using him!

Unfortunately that means Abbie has to wait to see another surgeon in the city. They will discuss with him what is the best plan and go from there.

So for in the meantime, Abbie is still struggling with fluid on her lungs and struggling to breathe just walking around her own home. 😞

Abbie also got her scan results and it showed that everything has grown a little bit more. 🫤

She has spots on the outside of her lungs, which have been there since before April. However, her old oncologist did not inform her of this and kept it from her so this was a shock to everyone! 😑

Abbie also has a new small spot on her liver. All of the medicine they have tried for the last 9 months has not even touched the cancer so we are praying that this new oncologist can find just what Abbie needs!

He has two plans for Abbie.
A blood test that she recently had will decide which one they do.
While they wait on the results of the blood test, Abbie is taking a break from all medicine and praying for healing and solutions to come her way!!!

So while she waits, she is very tired…Please continue to lift her up and pray fervently for healing! ♥️

This sweet girl is having chemo tomorrow. Pray for it to go smoothly! 🙏🏻🩷
She had a doctor appointment today and they will continue with this new plan for a couple months before doing a scan and praying it WORKS!
They do not have the results back yet from the lung fluid they removed on Thursday (which was 1 1/2 liters!)

After Abbie’s procedure yesterday, things didn’t go quite as smoothly as expected. (Removed a very large amount of fluid from her lungs!)
She is very uncomfortable today and struggling.
All the prayers are so appreciated so THANK YOU in advance!
We are asking if you could lift her up a little extra today and pray she gets some much needed relief!
