It was recertification weekend for 3 of our teams this weekend!

Gus and Max also received their Canine Good Citizen titles today.

May God bless these teams as they continue to serve communities in Brooklyn Park, MN, Appleton, WI, and Cedar Rapids & North Liberty, IA!

Our National Coordinator, Laura, and Korra Therapy Dog are on their way to Kentucky for a Movement Markers tm clinic so Laura can learn more about properly caring for our therapy dogs' entire bodies to help them be healthier and more comfortable. This will help our LCM programs to better serve and show Christian love to their communities!

What a blessing to make new friends at Cottage Grove Place yesterday!

Proverbs 15:13 says, "A joyful heart makes a cheerful face." I think there must have been some joyful hearts there today because I saw a lot of cheerful faces!

Laura and I got to practice my new skill to help me be accessible for pats from people that can't reach me on the floor. I do "paws up" on Laura's arm so she can gently transfer me to their lap or arm rest for extra love!

May God bless your Holy Week!

Think about this for a second. Jesus knew.

He goes into that room with His disciples. He knows He is going to be betrayed. He knows it is Judas who will turn against him. He knows that He has been sold out for a handful of silver. Stabbed in the back by one He has poured His life into.

Yet, in that room, hours before the death of Jesus, Judas ate too. Jesus fed Judas too. Jesus prayed for Judas too. Jesus washed Judas’ feet too. I struggle to fathom that kind of love. A love that would feed the mouth that deceived you. A love that would wash the treasonous feet of the traitor. A love that could forgive even the vilest of betrayals.

It's hard to imagine offering that kind of forgiveness and mercy to someone. Jesus chose to love Judas. If you think about it for a moment. In one way or another we are all Judas. We have all sinned against God. We have all done things we may feel are unworthy of forgiveness. But unlike the heart of us earthly people, God will always offer his forgiveness.

It's an incredible feeling knowing now, that Judas ate too.

In our attempt to be Christ like, may we all learn to forgive the Judas in our own life.

On National Golden Retriever Day, we're celebrating our golden boys, Gus Therapy Dog and Max Therapy Dog!

Gus serves at Brooklyn Lutheran Church - WELS in Brooklyn Park, MN, and Max serves at St. Mark Ministries in Green Bay and De Pere, WI. We're so thankful to them and their teams for all the love they show to their congregations and communities.
