One day, Allen and I were praying together when I felt the Lord say:

"You covered Me up."

At first, I wasn't sure what He meant.
Then I realized we had placed a tarp over the cross near our driveway. What was intended for a practical purpose had completely hidden it from view.

Allen and I immediately uncovered the cross.

But the Lord wasn't just talking about the cross.

How often do we allow responsibilities, distractions, worries, hurts, or even good things to slowly cover up our view of Jesus?

That moment has stayed with me.

Sometimes we don't walk away from Him. We simply allow other things to get in the way of seeing Him clearly.

Today, if life feels heavy or overwhelming, maybe take a moment to ask yourself:

"What have I allowed to cover up my view of Jesus?" ❤️

"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith." — Hebrews 12:2

Dakota was very unsure about the Bronco today… 😂🐴

I kept reassuring him, “Honey, you’re not being replaced, I promise.”
Then came the offended turn around with his backside pointed right at me. 😂🤍

Moments like this are such a reminder of how deeply horses connect, feel, and respond. Their personalities — and their hearts — are truly something special. 🥹❤️🐴

A couple of weeks ago, we went through a pretty scary situation with Strawberry, and we are beyond thankful to say he is doing so much better now 🤍🐴🙌

We are especially grateful for our dear friend Carol Witt Pugh, who dropped everything and came to help. Her knowledge of essential oils and her calm presence during a very stressful situation meant more than we can express. The oils became such an important part of Strawberry’s comfort and recovery, along with all the prayers, support, and guidance we received from others who stepped in when we needed them most.

Moments like this remind us just how thankful we are for answered prayers, good people, and a pony who is back to loving on us again and wanting hugs. 🐴🤍🙌

It was born from faith, connection, and the belief that healing often begins in the quiet moments.

Right now, we’re praying, planning, listening, and trusting God to guide each step as Horse Hugs continues to unfold.

We know many of you are excited to see where this journey leads, and we truly appreciate your prayers, encouragement, and support along the way.
