A new journey begins with Chinmaya Vanaprastha Swaranjali—a warm and welcoming weekly online bhajan learning program for adults and seniors (55+). Whether you're singing for the first time or returning to bhajans after many years, you'll find a joyful community where we learn, sing, connect, and grow spiritually together. No prior musical experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and devotion.

8:30 PM – Coronation of Shri Rama
Kids can dress as Hanuman, Sugriva, Jambavan, or any favorite character and join the joyful Rama Return Walk.

Morning begins with Pujya Swami Shantananda ji unfolding the Vivah Katha — the most beautiful passage in the Ramcharitmanas — in English. Then Shri Ram's Baraat arrives. Dhol. Music. Children dressed as the princes of Ayodhya leading the procession. Ladies of Mithila showering flowers. A sacred Vedic ceremony uniting Shri Ram and Mother Sita. Being in it provides Blessings for those seeking a life partner. For couples renewing their bond. For parents holding that quiet prayer for their children. Then Katha again in the evening to carry it all home. Come dressed in yellow and saffron.

He learned at the feet of the man who brought Vedanta to the West. Now he is coming to our neighborhood. (Cary, NC)
Pujya Swami Shantananda was personal secretary to Swami Chinmayananda — one of the most extraordinary spiritual minds of our time. He did not just study under him. He lived it, traveled with him, absorbed it firsthand. Today he leads Chinmaya Mission West — over 60 centers spanning the United States and Canada.
And honestly — people fly across the country just to sit in the same room as him. This April he is in Cary. Eight evenings. The complete Ramayana in English. Your parents will feel it. Your kids will remember it. And you — you will finally hear the whole story the way it was meant to be told.
