Faith & Freedom Class

Faith & Freedom Class Adult Sunday School class at First United Methodist Church, Cary, NC Made up of people age 50 and up.

We read and discuss a variety of current literature – theology, history, biography and fiction. Fund raising projects include working at Carter-Finley stadium concessions and church dinners with proceeds benefiting non-profit organizations both near and far. Quarterly we host homeless families through Wake Family Promise. Social events include a fall retreat to the mountains, Super Bowl and Christmas parties, dinners for eight, and other get-togethers throughout the year.

On the way to the Blowing Rock retreat, many of us stopped at the Old Fourth Street Filling Station for lunch.
