The Jay Giblin Memorial Foundation is a 501C(3) non-profit organization established to raise money for charities and conservation groups. Jude's Dream Day Foundation, Coastal Conservation Association (CCA), Ducks Unlimited, St. Thomas More Catholic School, The Jay Giblin Scholarship at Catholic High School, The Wounded Warrior Project, LSU, & the LA Wildlife and Fisheries Foundation and many other

s. The Memorial Foundation was created after the loss of Jay Giblin or "Big Sweet" as most people knew him. Jay cared a great deal about each organization that generous donations help support each year. It's because of amazing friends and family, we have been able to donate over $120,000 to charities in Jay's name since the memorial foundation has been established. "Big Sweet" will continue to live on in our hearts and lives forever!!

Looking forward to celebrating our "Big Sweet" today at the 9th Annual Big Sweet Shootout. My parents and I are blessed to have such amazing friends and family that allow Jay to live on in our hearts and lives forever through this special event!! It is a gorgeous day and the shenanigans are about to begin!!

Mark your calendars!! The 9th Annual Big Sweet Shootout will be held Friday, Sept. 30th, 2016 at Hunter's Run Gun Club in Port Allen, LA. Come out and join us for this amazing event in memory of Jay, "Big Sweet." There is still plenty of time to sign up if you would like to shoot. To find out more information on how to reserve a team, be a sponsor or make a donation, contact Fritz Carville at [email protected] or Trey Crawford at [email protected]. Registration begins at 9:00am. Shooting begins at 10:00am. Lunch will begin immediately after the shoot or roughly around Noon and prizes to follow lunch.
