We can’t help the hurting until we see our own hurt. We can’t forgive what we refuse to see.

Even on your best day, you still fall short.

That isn’t meant to discourage you, it’s meant to remind you that your hope has never been in your performance.

On your best day, you still need Jesus.
On your worst day, Jesus is still enough.

We don’t stand before God because we have earned His love. We stand because Christ lived the life we couldn’t live, died the death we deserved, and rose again so that all who trust in Him can be made righteous by grace through faith.

Stop trying to earn what Jesus has already accomplished. Walk in obedience, yes, but do it from a place of gratitude, not to gain God’s acceptance.

Today, rest in this truth: Your Savior is greater than your failures, and His grace is sufficient every single day.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:23–24

We wonder, “How much more can I take? How much more do I have to go through?” The weight of life can feel unbearable. In those moments, the bottle, the needle, or the straw can seem like the easiest way to escape the pain.

But that escape is only temporary, it never heals the wound. It only deepens it.

God never promised we wouldn’t face trials, but He did promise He would be with us in them. “Fear not, for I am with you… I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you.” Isaiah 41:10

The enemy whispers, “Go back. It’ll make the pain stop.” Jesus says, “Come to Me.” Matthew 11:28

Every time you choose Christ over your addiction, you’re choosing freedom over bo***ge, healing over hiding, and life over death. Keep taking the next faithful step. One prayer. One meeting. One phone call. One day at a time.

Don’t give up. The God who brought you this far is able to carry you through the rest. “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

It’s Monday. We always say we’ll start over on Monday. It’s a good day to start. We all have to start somewhere and if it’s today, do it. Be encouraged that we can start over any day or any hour. If you mess up, start over. If you woke up this morning, what a blessing to be able to start again.

How do you make it through a Monday?

Not by coffee alone.
Not by willpower.
Not by hoping things get easier.

You make it through Monday by staying connected to the Father through prayer.

John 17:1
These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

Before Jesus faced the cross, He prayed.

If the Son of God needed to spend time with the Father before facing His day, how much more do we?

Pray in the morning for wisdom and direction.
Pray in the afternoon for strength and perseverance.
Pray in the evening with gratitude and surrender.

Prayer isn't just something we do before meals or when we're in trouble. Prayer is how we walk with God throughout the day.

When Monday feels overwhelming, remember

You don't have to carry it alone

Start your day with God.
Check in with Him throughout the day.
End your day in His presence.

One prayer at a time.
One step at a time.
One day at a time.

May this Monday be filled with God's peace, His wisdom, and His strength.

If you're committing to pray morning, afternoon, and evening today, comment "I'm praying" below.
