Big Day for The Learning Center!

WE HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!

Today, we’re excited to officially announce that Janna Aikins will serve as the new Director of the Learning Center!

We are very excited to make this transition official and believe Janna is uniquely equipped for this role.
Janna brings significant experience serving and leading children through her years overseeing Rooted Church's Children's Ministry. At the same time, her degree and background in business bring an important set of skills that will help us accomplish the goals we have for the Learning Center.

We’re grateful for the Lord’s provision in bringing Janna into this role and are excited to see all that He will accomplish through her leadership. Many of you have already had the opportunity to meet Janna this summer, and we’re excited for even more of you to get to know her and see the heart she brings to serving our students and families.

Yesterday we had the privilege of setting up at the Ozark Christian College Ministry Expo and the Carl Junction Schools Back to School Bash! 🎉

It’s an exciting time of year as students head back to the classroom, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to connect with so many students, families, teachers, and ministry leaders.

Praying for a great school year and looking forward to all that God is going to do in the lives of students and families in our community!

This weekend, church began on a sand volleyball court 😉

So thankful for this group of young people (and for all those who aren’t pictured here). They bring so much life and joy to our church family, and they are an answer to many prayers.

Watching God work in and through the next generation is one of the great joys of church life. We’re grateful for every one of them and excited for all that God is doing in their lives! 🙌

Today NAMB leaders from across the country got to hear the story of what God has done in our midst over the past decade. Rooted Church - NWA, Radiant Church and Rooted Church - SWMO, your faithfulness has made an impact far beyond the walls you gather in on Sunday.

Thankful for you, and excited to see what our God has planned for you over the next decade.

Tomorrow we’ll gather to worship in Carl Junction, but that’s just one part of what God is doing through our church family this weekend.

This morning, the Sisters in Christ Food Pantry is serving those in need from The HUB in Liberal, Missouri. Then tomorrow, people will gather to worship with Rooted Church - NWA in Springdale, Arkansas; Radiant Church in Pittsburg, Kansas; and God’s Grace Church, which meets at the City Center in south Fayetteville and serves our Somali brothers and sisters throughout Northwest Arkansas.

It’s a beautiful thing to remember that the Church is far bigger than any one gathering or location. We thank God for the privilege of partnering together to proclaim the gospel, serve our communities, and make disciples. Please join us in praying that lives would be changed, believers would be encouraged, and Jesus would be glorified in every conversation, every act of service, and every worship gathering this weekend.
