Schools back!

Thanks to all who showed up for our Ice Cream / Pizza / Blessing of Back Packs social tonight! Thanks Father Mario for blessing our kids for the new year!!

A great time was had. THANKS Social Committee for all your work. The goal is to build community.

I for one, had a great conversation with someone I see at church often but rarely have a chance to talk to. I saw a couple of other people having similar (getting to know more about you) conversations. That's the goal!

In the Catholic Church, including the Diocese of Jackson Mississippi and here at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Canton, the entire month of August is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

This month, let us encourage each other to focus on prayer, the Rosary, and imitating Mary's virtues and love for Jesus Christ.

Many thanks to our Parish family, that donated YARN to the Knitting Club at the Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl, MS. The lady inmates were able to make 30 blankets which will be donated to the Blair Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson. Without your support and generosity, this project would not have succeeded!

Hello all. Just a reminder that we say The Rosary on Saturday's at 4:40 before mass and on Sunday's at 8:45 before mass. This week though, we are saying/singing the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. We are doing it similar to the attached Youtube video with Steve Angrisano who is someone who has written some of the hymns in our music issue at church.
