ATTENTION- PLEASE SHARE

Families of those buried in Woodlawn & Woodlawn-Landess Addition Cemetery:

This message is long overdue but we have tried to be patient and understanding. Maintenance personnel have trouble navigating cemeteries when mowing and other maintenance (opening and closing graves for burial sites).

Commercial mowers are now wider and mow 5 to 6 feet at a time. The years of push mowers and home style riding mowers is over. The world has changed and we must be ready to accommodate these industrial size mowers.

The cost of labor and fuel make this a mandatory change. Again, we are sorry for any inconvenience, but these new rules MUST be followed and executed by March 15, 2025. That’s about when mowing season begins.

We wish to thank the many families who have chosen Woodlawn and Woodlawn-Landess Addition Cemetery as their final resting place.
