Bishop Joseph A. Williams joined bishops, priests and thousands of faithful in Philadelphia yesterday for the closing Mass of the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, followed by a Eucharistic procession with the Blessed Sacrament through the city streets.

The pilgrimage, which began May 24 in St. Augustine, Florida, traveled through 18 dioceses—including the Diocese of Camden—before concluding July 5 in Philadelphia.

Rooted in the mission of evangelization, pilgrims brought Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament to communities across the country, inviting countless people to encounter His Real Presence.

May the fruits of this pilgrimage inspire us all to continue bringing Jesus to others through our words, our witness and our lives.

The Holy Father’s message celebrates the legacy of in the country and invites faithful to continue to look to Christ in the Eucharist as the source of communion and renewal.

Young adults across the Diocese of Camden are seeking faith, community, truth and a place to ask real questions. In this episode, Mike Walsh and co-host Kari Janisse welcome Father Allain Caparas, Father Peter Gallagher, and seminarian Theo Deluhery for a conversation about a new diocesan young adult initiative designed to meet that moment.

The initiative, called Vigilare, will launch with a special event on Saturday, July 18, from 7-9 p.m. at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish’s Our Lady of Lourdes Church Campus in Glassboro. The evening will include a Holy Hour, music, Night Prayer, opportunities for confession, food and social time for young adults ages 18-35.

The group discusses why so many young adults are showing renewed interest in the Catholic faith, the importance of in-person community in a digital world, and the need for spaces where young people can encounter Christ, build real friendships and ask honest questions without fear.

Today is the Solemnity of Corpus Christi (Body and Blood of Christ).

Just read this from St. John Chrysostom:

“Above all, the Eucharist reveals the love of Christ: “To show the love he has for us, Christ has made it possible for those who desire not merely to look upon him but even to touch him and to consume him and to fix their teeth in his flesh and to be commingled with him. In short, to fulfill all their love. Let us, then, come back from that table like lions breathing out fire, thus becoming terrifying to the devil, and remaining mindful of the love which Christ has shown for us.”

May we all come out of Mass today like lions breathing out fire - terrifying the devil!

Pray for our priests always.

Praying you live fully into a grace-filled Holy Week, and may you know the 'love that never runs'.

This is such an important and intentional way to view our own suffering. We all suffer.
What a wonderful message for this Saturday before Palm Sunday!
