Righteousness:

There is righteousness by the law & righteousness through Grace. In other words, there is a righteousness that is attainable through the law (Moses) and a righteousness that is imparted through Grace (Jesus).
To illustrate this, you have the option to either keep using your desktop, which still works and will get the job done. However, you may have to put in more work since you can only use it in a designated space. Or, you can choose to use your laptop, which is mobile and can be used anywhere to maximize efficiency. This is a very simple illustration of the law and grace.
The only thing is that no one has been able to satisfy the demands of the law, except Jesus. So, if you want to attain righteousness by works, you will never be able to receive anything from God because you will always make mistakes and feel condemnation. However, if you choose to receive it by relying on the one who is righteous (Jesus Christ), it becomes easy. You are not trying to become righteous on your own because He already is; rather, you rely on His finished work, hallelujah!
I understand it seems too good to be true, but that is why it is the good news (The Gospel)—the power of God that saves. Not your works! It is not by your own effort. All you bring to the table is surrendering yourself by receiving righteousness, which is a free gift, consciously following His leading daily, and receiving mercy if you fall short.
I love how brother Paul said it in Galatians 2:16: "A person is not declared righteous by God on the ground of his legalistic observance of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ." Hallelujah!

The Struggle with Self.

The greatest struggle of every human being on earth is the struggle with self. Our struggle with self is greater than we realize. Self is the reason we continue to do the things we already know God wants us not to do. Self is the motivation behind every sin. God tells you to forgive; self tells you not to. Self reminds you that if you do, you will look weak. Self reminds you that you aren't the one at fault. Self asks you, "How long will you be the first to apologize?" God tells you to flee from anything that doesn't give glory to Him. Self tells you, "We are all sinners, just this last time." Self is bigger than we think, and self is controlled by Satan.Jesus said in Luke 9:23, "If anyone wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me." The key words are "Deny Daily." Our walk with God must be intentional. You don't pick and choose how, when, or where to serve God. When all is said and done, your life will be meaningless without Him. Some of us have tried to live outside of Him. We got tired of living the godly life because it feels overwhelming sometimes, but after a while, we saw the emptiness, void, and distortion, and we came back to God.Self is why we do what we know outright we should not be doing. The sin of "I, me, and myself" is an idol. I can't do this, how will people see me, am I the only one, I am tired—I, I, and I. The honest question to ask is, "Is self still the lord of my life, or is Jesus Christ?" Whoever is your lord must be in control of your will, desires, emotions—simply put, your life in general. The battle with self must be fought intentionally.

To get all of God, you must give Him all of you. Not until God becomes the number one priority of your life, your journey has not started. And when He truly becomes the number one in your life, you will know.

This is something Satan is very aware of, which is why he will never allow you to make that commitment, mostly in developed countries. He has implemented structures of distractions specifically to exalt himself as god in your life without you realizing.

Let me digress a little. A pastor friend of mine told me they were trying to get a venue for a church meeting, a place of worship, and every building they saw was unapproved. The same thing continued to happen; they were all disapproved. And he became confused as to why they were continuing to deny them access. He asked one of the police officers present when the last place was unauthorized. The police officer told him the reason was because there had been a lot of complaints from a specific line of business owners that whenever there was a church close to them, it affected their trade because people got saved and would not patronize them, specifically alcoholic products. This happened in Los Angeles.

You are the only one who thinks things just happen. You think it's a coincidence that businesses don't acknowledge the Sabbath day, even though God said it should be kept holy. You are the only one who thinks it's normal that the system wants you to work seven days a week, including the days you are supposed to spend with God. You have been so indoctrinated to the point where you call it civilization. Some of you have even started questioning why you have to go to church, forgetting the Bible said do not forsake the gathering of your brethren.

The only time you remember God is when you've been diagnosed with a chronic disease or when you've gotten into trouble and doctors couldn't help you. The system has taught you to believe in doctors more than your Creator, and you've somehow looked for a way to feel comfortable by quoting scriptures that are not in the Bible: 'God helps those who help themselves.' If you can help yourself, you don't need God.

To follow God, you must walk away from everything that has glorified itself in your life more than God. Is it work, movies, food, or whatever it is? Until Jesus becomes the center of your life, this doesn't mean you should not work; God wants you to work. He created a job before He created Man. However, any kind of job that will take you away from fellowship with God will take you to Egypt, bo***ge.

In Luke 5:11, it says, 'And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all and followed Jesus.' They didn't follow Jesus because they had need or lacked; they followed Him in the midst of plenty. You're only following God because things are bad for you now. As soon as you secure a job, that's when you have all the excuses in the world why you cannot make time for God, the Giver of life, strength, and health you're using to do the job in the first place.

Question: Are you sure you're saved? Not until God is enthroned in your life, you may not be. You do not serve God at your own time or convenience; you serve Him in His time.

The Life of a Christian.

Battles of life don't stop because you are a Christian; they increase because you have decamped from the control of the god of this world, and that is a direct invitation to Satan. It's like a professional career. The higher you go, the more your responsibilities increase. Your responsibility doubles on a different level. The good news is, if you stay on the Word of God, those attacks will only bring about promotions. This is because every challenge you overcome by the help of the Holy Spirit adds to your rank in the realm of the spirit. Every challenge you give in to gives access to more demons. This is why, whenever you give in to sin, the first few days after the act, you notice an increase in your urge to do it again, and again. This is not a coincidence. The greatest fear of the devil is to see you saved. When he sees an opening in your life after you've been saved, he doesn't send one demon; rather, he sends more to prevent you from getting saved again. This is why he comes with guit and condemnation. Luke 11:24-26. This is why you must conclude in your heart that we are in a battle in this world. And because of what is at stake, you must make up your mind to fight. Think about how long you've been going back and forth? Time is going, and you are not getting any younger. Listen, there are certain things you cannot achieve in a certain age, which is why time is extremely important. Satan needs a body to operate from, and this is the same with God; He needs bodies to operate from. This is a race for souls. So, timeliness is of paramount importance. God needs you and me at a certain age because that is when He can effectively use you. The issue is that a lot of people procrastinate. They delay their destiny with excuses, and when they finally get ready is when they are old. God may not need them at that time because the version of you that is ready now cannot do much. Yes, you will make heaven if you stay in the faith, but you would have missed the essence of your life with little or no reward. Luke 6:23-Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven.

This will not be your portion in Jesus name. You will make up your mind early to take on responsibilities in on time. In Jesus name.

Walk by Faith not by Sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we walk by faith and not by sight. The simplest meaning of the word faith is trust. So, the Bible says that as believers, kingdom citizens, we live by trusting in God, not by what we see, feel, hear, or touch. His word precedes anything else. Why? Because the things you see, feel, and touch are all subject to change by God's word, because He created all things, both visible and invisible. The Bible says, "To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life." To be carnally minded is to trust what you see, feel, touch, and sense more than the One who created all things. So, what do I do when what I see is different from God's word? Question: Whose report would you believe? Would you believe what you see more than the One who created the heavens and you? The world was void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep, but God said, "Let there be light." Did God not see that the world was dark? He knew the darkness was subject to change at His spoken word. Guess what? If He didn't speak, nothing would have changed. Why? Because He created the world by speaking. So, to change things, He had to speak. You've stopped speaking or refused to speak; that is why the situation has refused to change. You don't stop speaking, irrespective of what you see, because you know God's word precedes what you see. So, keep saying; don't stop talking God's word because His word is truth; you must believe it. How long have you lived believing the things you see? Has anything changed, or has it become worse? Why not start practicing the word of God? All you have to do is look at His word, speak the word into every situation that is not in alignment with His word, and continue speaking until you see the change you need. There is only one way to access things from God (Faith); sadly, it’s not tears, getting mad, or feeling frustrated, because spirits don’t listen to emotions. They listen to what is written. The spiritual world is more complex than the physical; it’s built on laws, not emotions. This is why all your emotions (tears) haven’t changed anything in your life. Stop crying and start learning, and take responsibility for your life.
