Chelyan Church of the Nazarene (CCN) is proud to announce the start of a brand new ministry. The foster Closet is committing to supplying local foster families with basic initial needs at no charge to the families. Our ministry is focusing on children ages 10-18. An estimated 41% or more of the children in foster care in West Virginia fall into this category. We hope to be a blessing to the community and to the foster families and foster children we help! As of now we are just getting started so we are in need of donations. If anyone would like to partner with us to donate and help the basic needs of an initial placement of Children in the foster care system please feel free to reach out to us on here or Pastor Colton Carter. Once we have some donations we will reach out to start supplying the families with what we can.
Donated Items Needed:
New: Socks, Shoes (any size), Underwear, Unopened hygiene items (ex: toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo/body wash, brushes/combs, etc) makeup for the girls
New or Gently Used: Clothes (sizes children's 10-16+, Adult sizes small-large, clean, free from stains and holes), Toys, Sporting and Outdoor Equipment, Young Adult Books, Nightlights
Used: Beds (no used mattresses), Dressers (clean and in good working order), Gaming Systems and Games
