At Mahaffey Camp and Conference Center there are stones all over that have Scripture to remind us of who God is. This verse points us to stop trying to do things all on our own and to trust God. May you find encouragement through the simple truths in the Scripture this week

Happy Lord’s day! As you prepare this morning to worship the Lord, take some time and spend it in prayer.

From the sermon today:
“If we stop for a moment and think about how amazing it is that the Author of life, the One who sustains everything and holds it together, the One who fashioned you in your mothers womb, the One who sees you every moment of your entire life, and the One who sent His only Son to pay the ransom for you in order to redeem you from the enemy. That is who we have been given direct access to turn to in prayer, and the promise that He hears us. God is truly amazing.”
