John 20:1-7 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.” Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.”
When Jesus left the tomb he left the grave clothes he had been wrapped in but he left the face cloth neatly folded. You may say well why is that important ? Well in those days it was their custom when a person left the table or where they were if they had wadded the cloth up it meant they were finished and the servant could take their plate. But, if they neatly folded their cloth and sat it to the side it signified they wasnt finished and would be back.
BABY, WHAT I'M SAYING IS THEY BEAT HIM, WHIPPED HIM, PLUCKED HIS BEARD, PIERCED HIS SIDE, SPAT ON HIM, PLACED A CROWN OF THORNS ON HIS HEAD, NAILED HIM TO A CROSS ON A FRIDAY, LAYED HIM IN A TOMB THAT EVENING AND THOUGHT IT WAS OVER. SATURDAY CAME FILLED WITH UNCERTAINTY AND GRIEF.. OH BUT SUNDAY CAME AND HE HAD RISEN JUST AS HE SAID HE WOULD BUT HE LEFT THE GRAVE CLOTH FOLDED SET ASIDE TO SIGNIFY HE WILL BE BACK JUST AS HE PROMISED!!!
