Woke up this morning been up since 5am with this thought… HE LOVES ME ANYWAY!!

In spite of my shortcomings, in spite of when I think I have it all under control, in spite of when I do things my way. HE LOVES ME IN SPITE OF MYSELF! THIS MORNING I COME BY TO REMIND SOMEBODY THAT GOD LOVES YOU ANYWAY!! In spite of the addiction, the rejection, the hurt that caused you to walk away, right there in the middle of your mess HE LOVES YOU ANYWAY!!! Remember God didn’t wait to change the heart of Saul after he had it together.. NO SAUL BECAME PAUL ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS ON THE WAY TO ARREST AND PERSECUTE CHRISTIANS AFTER AN ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS!!EVEN OTW TO TAKE OUT GODS PEOPLE GOD LOVED HIM ANYWAY!!!

I am the thorn in Your crown
But You love me anyway
I am the sweat from Your brow

I am Judas' kiss

See now, I am the man that called out from the crowd

Did you know that palm trees are actually designed to bend in the storm? Not break but Bend. Their roots go so deep that no matter how violently the wind whips them sometimes almost completely horizontal they survive the storm & they stand right back up. Why am I saying that ?

Psalm 92:12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree…. Baby, You were designed the same way. The storms you have walked through. The seasons that almost took you out. The winds that bent you so far you were not sure you would stand back up. Look at you still standing. That is not luck. That is roots. Deep roots. God given roots that hold when everything else gives way.

So when the storms of this life come remember You are rooted and you will flourish!!

John‬ ‭20‬:‭1‬-‭7‬‬ Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.” Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.”

When Jesus left the tomb he left the grave clothes he had been wrapped in but he left the face cloth neatly folded. You may say well why is that important ? Well in those days it was their custom when a person left the table or where they were if they had wadded the cloth up it meant they were finished and the servant could take their plate. But, if they neatly folded their cloth and sat it to the side it signified they wasnt finished and would be back.

BABY, WHAT I'M SAYING IS THEY BEAT HIM, WHIPPED HIM, PLUCKED HIS BEARD, PIERCED HIS SIDE, SPAT ON HIM, PLACED A CROWN OF THORNS ON HIS HEAD, NAILED HIM TO A CROSS ON A FRIDAY, LAYED HIM IN A TOMB THAT EVENING AND THOUGHT IT WAS OVER. SATURDAY CAME FILLED WITH UNCERTAINTY AND GRIEF.. OH BUT SUNDAY CAME AND HE HAD RISEN JUST AS HE SAID HE WOULD BUT HE LEFT THE GRAVE CLOTH FOLDED SET ASIDE TO SIGNIFY HE WILL BE BACK JUST AS HE PROMISED!!!

Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content!

When the hard times come… Count it all joy
When your plans crash…. Count it all joy
When there is a setback… Count it all joy
When you barely have enough.. Count it all joy

No matter the circumstances or trials COUNT IT ALL JOY FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH!!!
