John's Evangelical Church exists to BUILD UP THE BODY OF CHRIST so that we might know Christ and make Him known. We worship on Sunday mornings at 8 and 10:30 and Monday evenings at 6:30.

We are officially on our summer worship schedule!

From now until Labor Day weekend, our service times are:
Sunday 8am, 9:30am (note the second service time change!)
Monday 6:30pm

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND - Our normal Monday worship service is on TUESDAY evening (May 26) instead. If you were unable to attend worship today, we look forward to seeing you Tuesday evening at 6:30pm!

Today marked the triumphant conclusion of the school year, and every single student got to savor the thrill of a fantastic field trip!!

The 3K class had their last day of school today followed with a picnic lunch on our playground. Family members that were available joined us. The Bounce House was a big hit!

The 4K class concluded the school year with carnival games held in the church meeting room and narthex, and we wish everyone God's richest blessings for a wonderful summer.

The upgrade students had the chance to test orchestra instruments in a hands-on experience yesterday!

My favorite SJB memory:
My favorite SJB memory is all the times our class got to joke around with Mr. Malliet and just have fun together as a class. Those are memories I will always look back to and cherish.

Teacher who made an impact on you:
Mr. Malliet has made the biggest impact on me because he has made these past two years so much better. He always made class enjoyable, supported his students, and helped make school a place I actually look forward to being.

What one word describes you? Determined.

What is your favorite food? Tacos.

Favorite Bible passage:
Matthew 6:34- “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.”

High school you will attend: Shoreland Lutheran High School

What SJB activities/groups were you part of? Volleyball. Basketball. Track. Musicals.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Be kind to everyone you meet, for everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
