This past Sunday, Pastor John reminded us that God is omnipresent and meets us right where we are. Through Zacchaeus, we see that after having an encounter with Jesus it invokes restorative repentance, which isn’t just words it’s a changed life, shown by taking action to make amends for past actions.

This past Sunday Pastor John reminded us of the power of having a “hideout”. Jesus our mediator and model, felt it necessary to regularly step away from the crowd to spend time with God. If Jesus needed that connection with God so do we. Let's make a habit of escaping to our own “hideout” for daily devotion and prayer.
