Welcome to Here Comes The Son.

Diyana and I started this page in the early months of 2020. Diyana and I were at that time missionaries for The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Flordia Orlando Mission.

This page was created to share the light of Christ's Gospel, help others find Him in a darkening world, and bring His light to everyone.

Why we chose the name Here Comes The Son, it was first because we liked the play on words and the uplifting and light that the words brought to mind. If you have heard the song "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles that is what instently come to mind when we wrote the name down.

We both new that song and loved how upbeat it is and the lines "here comes the sun, and I say. "it's alright"
"It's been a long, cold, lonely winter, it feels like years since it's been here. Here comes the sun."

When we come to know Christ it can feel like we are leaving behind a long, cold, lonely winter and has felt like years since we last felt the sun. We can all build a relationship with Christ and feel the light of the Son, no matter where we are on the journey to Christ we can feel His light.

Why we have the logo as the sun rising is because building a relationship with Christ won't happen quickly. It will be like a rising sun, slow but steady and brings light even with the smallest movment.

Thanks for sticking around for this long and thanks for being here. Don't forget that you are loved by a perfect Being and known perfectly.

Last Friday I had the opportunity to go to the DC Temple open house and I was reminded of the peace that Christ can bring into our lives.

Sometimes I forgot the peace the can come from purposely spending time with the Lord.
Whether that be going to the temple, attending church meetings, or gospel study.

We all need that break from always doing something to spend time with Heaven.

If any of you are in the Maryland area and want to take a tour of the temple visit the link in our bio, it’s completely free and a wonderful experience πŸ™‚

A couple of months back I was telling a close friend that I was struggling with reading the scriptures and just all around feeling distant from Heaven.

She told me that what really helped her was instead of make spiritual growth a check list, and something she HAD to do everyday. She started asking herself how she could connect with heaven that day.

That was a game changer! Now in the mornings instead of reminding myself that I need to pray or read the scriptures. I ask myself

How can I connect to heaven today?

How can I building a stronger relationship with my Savior today?

And now each day it looks different on how I connect with heaven, and I love it!

Now I look for ways to serve others throughout my day, I reach out to a friend, I add someone to my prayers. There are so many different ways that we can connect with heaven and build a relationship with Christ.

Something powerful happens when we daily choose to connect with our Savior, and make can it a personalized experience.

I invite you to ask yourself how you can connect with heaven today.

"There is always a faithful answer."

I went to a regional sermon this Sunday and the speaker said three times, "There is always a faithful answer."
God will always be faithful and He will always answer.

This idea that God is faithful is just so odd to me. Who does He have faith in? πŸ€” Isn't He omniscient and omnipotent? Isn't He the grandest of the grand?

And then it hit me: He has faith in ME. He believes in me. And if God the Almighty believes in me, that must mean I'm capable of doing whatever that might be.

So, when you are waiting for an answer in prayer with faith, remember that God believes in you and will be faithful, perfectly and forever. 🌟

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
