Oxford County Conservation Corps The Oxford County Conservation Corps (OCCC) started in the summer of 2013.This program gives high school students a summer job, working on local trails.

The OCCC gives high school students living in Oxford County, ME, a job opportunity for four weeks during the summer. The first week of the program is spent at Bryant Pond 4-H Camp and Learning Center. While there the crew learns trail crew skills (making water bars, rock staircases, etc), develops leadership skills, and forms strong team dynamics through team building challenges and working throug

h a high ropes course. The last three weeks are spent working on various trails in and around Bethel, ME. One ongoing project is the maintenance and rerouting of the trail on Mt. Will in Bethel, ME.
