After Moses pitched the tent outside the camp, the presence of God became visible. When Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud descended, stood at the entrance, and the Lord spoke with him. The people watched from their own tent doors, and when they saw the cloud, they worshiped. This sermon is not mainly about building the tent. That was Week 1.

Jesus spoke clearly about hell because eternity is real, sin is serious, and people matter to God. The warning of hell is meant to wake us up, lead us to repentance, deepen our gratitude for salvation, and give us compassion for those who do not yet know Christ.
