The Book of Mormon is scripture written by ancient prophets in the Americas. Joseph Smith translated it by God’s power. Along with the Bible, it testifies of Jesus Christ’s ministry and mission as our Savior. As we read, ponder, and pray about it, we can come closer to God, know the Book of Mormon is His word, and learn that Joseph Smith was a prophet.

Did you know they had temples in ancient scripture? Often times prophets went to mountains to speak with the Lord, because they were the closest they could get to heaven!

A temple is Gods house here on earth, and is the closest place we have to Heaven. As we come unto the temple, we come unto the Lord!
