As the calendar turns, let’s reflect on what it means to hold firm to our Islamic identity.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever imitates a people is considered to be one of them.”
(Sunan Abi Dawud-4031)

While many welcome the new year with celebration, as Muslims, we remember that our times, our milestones, and our celebrations are guided by the Hijri calendar and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
