We had a beautiful morning yesterday as we received the ministry of the Holy Spirit during worship and prayer in the altars. God is so good!

💡We continued our series on Light and Darkness and were reminded of the powerful truth in Colossians that “He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.”

Session 1 of our Witness Workshop was a really great turnout! Destry Dobbs came and shared the heart behind why we share our faith and gave us practical steps to take in order to reach others! Looking forward to the 2nd session next Sunday!

✨Volunteer Spotlight✨
Our Woodlake Volunteer Spotlight this week is Kyra Johnson! Kyra faithfully serves on the Greeter Team, making everyone who walks through our doors immediately feel welcomed and at home, and she just recently joined our Kids Team as well! 🎉

Kyra says her favorite thing about serving at Woodlake is this…”I love the people I’ve met and the conversations I’ve been able to have through serving. I think it’s the best way to become a part of something bigger even if it’s as simple as opening the door for people. And I’ve been new, it makes a difference to have friendly people who notice you on the way in.”

Kyra and her husband Garrett have been part of the Woodlake Family since October of 2025! Kyra says this is how the church has been a blessing to them…”It’s given us a place to meet amazing people. We love the relationships we’ve made and the opportunity to worship together. I love the environment here, the people are genuine and the Lord‘s hand is on this Body. With all the transition Garrett and I have been going through, I know our family group is praying for us and checking up which has made us feel loved, supported, and known.”

We love and appreciate Kyra so much and couldn’t imagine life without her!
