¡Es mi primer día en una nueva escuela como su nueva especialista en lectura bilingüe! ¡No puedo creer que haya estado enseñando durante 24 años! He tenido altas y bajas. Me han despedido debido a recortes por los presupuestos un par de veces, pero Dios todavía provee. A veces pensamos que sabemos lo que es mejor para nosotros, y cuando no obtenemos lo que habíamos imaginado en nuestras mentes finitas, nos convertimos como niños haciendo rabietas. ¡Lo sé, he estado allí! Sin embargo, a través de estas experiencias Dios me ha enseñado el valor de ser paciente y la importancia de confiar en Su tiempo. En la espera nos volvemos más fuertes, más sabios, resistentes. En la espera Él nos prepara para las bendiciones y los avances que nos espera. Por lo tanto, sólo espere un poco más.

Today as I was praying at the altar, both of my boys affectionately embraced me. I looked at them and asked them to pray for me and they did not hesitate. They anointed me and lifted me up in prayer. Then they extended the same gesture to their father and I, of course had to capture this beautiful moment. Sometimes we wonder if the lessons we teach our children, the words of advice we say to them and the examples we strive to set each day, are truly making an impact. Are they listening? Do they love Jesus as much as I do? Today I received my answer. Lord cover my boys with your divine love and protection, in Jesus name!!!

Your children take in your example and your words of wisdom! Make sure you are setting a good example and lead them with love and wisdom.

Hoy, mientras oraba en el altar, mis dos hijos me abrazaron cariñosamente. Los miré y les pedí que oraran por mí y no dudaron. Me ungieron y me levantaron en oración. Luego extendieron el mismo gesto a su padre y yo, por supuesto, tuve que capturar este hermoso momento. A veces nos preguntamos si las lecciones que enseñamos a nuestros hijos, las palabras de consejo que les decimos y los ejemplos que nos esforzamos por establecer cada día, realmente están teniendo un impacto. ¿Están escuchando? ¿Aman a Jesús tanto como yo? Hoy recibí mi respuesta. ¡¡¡Señor, cubre a mis hijos con tu amor y protección divino, en el nombre de Jesús!!!

¡Sus hijos toman su ejemplo y sus palabras de sabiduría! Asegúrate de dar un buen ejemplo y guiarlos con amor y sabiduría.

Our Pastors hosted the youth at their home for this month's Fun Friday! While we said Aloha Summer, the youth enjoyed each other's company in a safe and welcoming environment. We ended the night by praying for them and their upcoming school year. God bless them and may they seek getting closer to God.

¡Nuestros pastores recibieron a los jóvenes en su casa para el Viernes Divertido de este mes! Mientras decíamos Aloha Summer, los jóvenes disfrutaron de la compañía del otro en un ambiente seguro y acogedor. Terminamos la noche orando por ellos y por su próximo año escolar. Dios los bendiga y que continuen acercandose a Dios.

What we had planned for tonight was completely different from what actually took place. Yet it was a perfect night. What was suppose to be a fellowship for all ended up being a boys fellowship for our teen boys. They played basketball, laughed at videos, enjoyed conversations, made smores and ate snacks all while being aurround by worship songs in a safe space. Tonight was laid back, easy and just what we needed. ❤️

What a beautiful and blessed morning God gifted us today. For the glory of God our youth Angie and Gabriel were baptized today. Our sister Wilma Young was also baptized today. They chose Jesus and publicly declared their faith in him. They made the best decisions of their lives!!! Please pray that God will fulfill his purpose in them and strengthen them each day. Pray that they may keep on growing in their faith despite any hardships they face.

Qué hermosa y bendita mañana nos regaló Dios hoy. Para la gloria de Dios, nuestros jóvenes Angie y Gabriel fueron bautizados hoy. Nuestra hermana Wilma Young también fue bautizada hoy. Eligieron a Jesús y declararon públicamente su fe en él. ¡¡¡Tomaron las mejores decisiones de sus vidas!!! Por favor, oren para que Dios cumpla su propósito en ellos y los fortalezca cada día. Oren para que puedan seguir creciendo en su fe a pesar de las dificultades que enfrentan.
