Ozark Mountain Homeschoolers

Ozark Mountain Homeschoolers A group of homeschooling families in SW Missouri that meets on Mondays, Sept-April. 10am-2:20pm. Older student electives change throughout the semester.

Ozark Mountain Homeschoolers is a co-op that is focused on elective type classes and activities. We offer fun and engaging classes such as art and sign language for younger students with sparring, art, survival and debate for older students. All ages will also have P.E. We are based out of the homeschool hub in Kimberling City -that is the new Veritas building and meet on Mondays (September-April)

from 10am-2:20 pm. We offer field trip opportunities each month as well as Mom's Night Out for additional connection. Tuition is $35 per student, per month. We also collect a once a semester $15 supply fee per student. www.ozarkmountainhomeschoolers.com

We do ask that every registered family has a parent volunteer every 4-6 weeks for the equivalent of 1 day. It is a helper position meaning you help take students to and from restrooms, help pass out supplies, and help with classroom cleanup such as sweeping, cleaning tables, taking out the trash, etc. If you have any questions feel free to send us a message on this page or send us an email at [email protected] We'd love to have your family join us and plug into this vibrant homeschooling community located in the beautiful Ozarks.

Hi Homeschool Families!

Fall Co-op is here!šŸŽ‰

The 2026-2027 Co-op year will start September 14th at Stockstill Park.

SCHEDULE
We will meet most Mondays this fall at various locations while we transition to a more permanent home closer to Branson. Our first official meet-up will be after Labor Day at Stockstill Park on Monday, September 14th | 9 AM – 12 PM for ages 5–18. No scheduled activities will be available for those under age 5.

Each month will include:
• At least one outside day
• At least one inside day
• One field trip
Families may choose which Mondays (or all Mondays!) to attend.

PARENT PARTICIPATION
This is a cooperative, parents are expected to teach and/or supervise every Monday their students attend. Drop-off is only available for students age 13+ who are responsible to be left without direct supervision. However, parents of teens are still required to teach or supervise at least one session throughout the semester. Field trips will NOT be drop off, parents of all students are required to stay with their own children unless they are over the age of 18.
There will be no class selection this semester; students will participate by age-group, with their choice of activity if more than one is available.
We are currently looking for parents willing to lead a session, this could be a craft, science lesson, or any other activity suitable for either outdoors or indoors. You do not need to commit to the full semester. We will have a sign-up schedule broken down by date and time for each age group, please sign up for any slot available that you can commit to. This will be available in the coming weeks. We appreciate any Monday you can contribute!

TUITION
$10 per student, per day attended. Payment is required by 5 PM the night BEFORE attending to ensure adequate supplies are available. Students who have not paid prior to arrival will not be able to participate. There will be no separate supply fee for this semester as the daily fee will cover all supplies and equipment. We will share payment details closer to September 14th.

AGE GROUPS
Students will be grouped by age:
• 5–8
• 9–11
• 12+
Although no activities will be scheduled separately for those under age 5, siblings under age 5 are welcome to join the 5-8s group with direct parent supervision only. They must also pay the required fee. Younger siblings who do not participate do not need to pay the fee but they must be supervised at all times in both indoor and outdoor locations.

Reminder that there is no co-op classes tomorrow. Hopefully, we can all enjoy a little more sleep and the warm weather tomorrow!!

We will see you back on March 16th!

Also, a heads up on March 30th we will be having our Egg Hunt the last two class periods. We are needing plastic eggs pre-filled with goodies please. If every family can donate a dozen or two filled eggs we would greatly appreciate it!

Last but certainly not least, a reminder to get those Peep Dioramas ready for the March 30th contest. Winners will be announced at 2:15 PM. If you are not familiar with our Peep Diorama Contest, you can certainly search Pintrest or the web for "Peep Diorama", there are so many fun examples. We can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!
