Pastor Lewis H. Finney has faithfully served in ministry for more than 35 years. He is a published author, a highly decorated United States Air Force retiree, a graduate of the USAF Chaplains Assistant Program, and a retired government employee.

His academic achievements include four associate degrees, a bachelor's degree, and two master's degrees, including a Master of Theological Studies.
His ministry extends far beyond the walls of the church, leaving a lasting impact throughout the community through leadership, service, and compassionate outreach. In recognition of his lifelong dedication to God, ministry, and servant leadership, we proudly congratulate him on being a 2026 recipient of the Honorary Doctor of Divinity. For the past 17 months, we have done Thankful Thursday Bible Study, primarily taught by Pastor Lewis Finney.

Initially, we used Facebook Live and Zoom. But as the Lord would have it, we found a senior living community a couple miles from home where we have served in person just over a year now.

Out of respect for our seniors, we don't go live, but we will capture short video clips of our teachings and share them on our platforms.
