What a powerful Father’s Day celebration at ELC today!

Today’s message challenged and encouraged every man to move beyond boyhood and embrace God’s design for manhood.

5 Characteristics of a Man

1. The Boy Dreams. The Man Builds.
📖 Joel 2:28
A dream is only the beginning. God calls men to take vision and turn it into action, building families, businesses, ministries, and legacies that honor Him.

2. The Boy Learns. The Man Leads.
📖 Proverbs 1:5
A godly man never stops learning, but he also understands that leadership requires responsibility, wisdom, and courage to guide others.

3. The Boy Follows. The Man Fathers.
📖 Malachi 4:6
Fatherhood is more than biology. It is about restoring homes, discipling generations, and leaving a godly legacy for those who follow.

4. The Boy Receives. The Man Gives.
📖 Acts 20:35
Maturity is revealed through generosity. A godly man looks for opportunities to serve, provide, encourage, and bless others.

5. The Boy Is Called. The Man Walks in Purpose.
📖 Jeremiah 1:5
Every man has a God-given purpose. True manhood is found when a man answers God’s call and faithfully walks in the assignment placed on his life.

Today we celebrated the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who continue to lead with strength, faith, sacrifice, and love. Thank you for being examples of godly manhood and for helping shape the next generation.

Today, we honor the men who lead with strength, love with patience, and serve with sacrifice. Fathers are more than providers. They are protectors, teachers, mentors, and examples for future generations.

Whether you are a father, grandfather, stepfather, spiritual father, or father figure, thank you for the impact you make every day. Your love, guidance, and faithfulness help shape families, communities, and lives.
