Pastor Aid service yesterday, was highly spiritual and informative. The church wasn't filled, but the Word of God was with us. We had a dynamic speaker from Mt. Nebo of Bossier City, La. What a Word. What a Word. He brought us a wonderful message. We SO Appreciate he and his church Family. We also had our own Bishop Eric Stells and his Family from the New Shiloh Baptist Church, from here in town. We Thank you for coming out and helping to make our program, the success that it was. It's always good to see your faces in the place. Our own Sister Mary Murray, spoke on the occasion for the day. The Pastor's Aid. The Pastor's Aid has so many duties. So many different things that are required of them, in order for the Pastor's job to be a little easier. You had to have been there, to see the fire in her eyes, trying to get the message out, where we could understand it. To see how serious and passionate she is about her job. I also understood, to myself that is, that if she's not around and he's in need of something, he should be able to call upon another member. We were also graced with music by the G&G Gospel Singers. Food was plentiful for all. Food for the stomach and food for the soul. All in all, we were well filled. Our sponsor/emcee had a pleasant surprise for the day, the appearance of his brother and sister in law. I was hippo 🦛 happy to see them. As usual, our guest speakers, never leave The Mount empty handed. The Lord really does, Love and Appreciates, a cheerful giver. Anything or anybody that I overlooked, I highly apologize. Medically speaking, yesterday was not a good day for yours truly. But we trust God's Grace, and that is sufficient. Always welcoming, your face in the place. God Bless us all.

Our new leader of the Greater Mt. Olive MBC. Pastor Rickey Taylor, of Shreveport, La. Already our church family has turned around with many improvements. We take it as a new invitation from the Father. This is the time for making a permanent choice, and no matter which way the winds of the world may blow, we choose our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We choose to be led by Him, to follow, and obey. Our brothers and sisters are our fields to harvest, and we WILL share what He gives us. Our compassion, our Love, and our help, to the best of our ability. The Lord 🙏 Blesses us to BE a Blessing to all that we can. We are opening our hands and hearts, to invite all that would care to, to join with us in being of service in our Lord's work. Our doors are always open, each Sunday morning, and you will always find a special seat-just for you. Come out and worship with our Family. The more people, the more praise. There is a move of God occuring, and we all want to be a part of it. We know that with the virus ramping up, some of us are hesitant to venture out, at times. We respect and honor your position. No one knows another person's reason, and it's not for us to judge. Only God. You have a standing, open invitation, that has NO expiration date. Anytime you show up, we are more than, as our pastor says, Hippopotamus Happy, to have you with us. If you can't, we ask you to, Please, keep us in your prayers. We will keep you uplifted with the Father. Be careful, stay safe, and may the Lord Bless us, everyone. ❤️ Our church particulars will be posted as soon as possible.

Wondering how to end the last of 17? Looking for a nice, warm, place to be, with people that Love the Lord? Come down and join us at the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church, in Bradley, Arkansas, for Watch Night Meeting. Our Special guests for the occasion will be, The Reverend Timothy Biddle of The New Generation In Christ Ministry and The Reverend Donald Page of New Life Ministries. We will be watching the old year out on December 31 @ 9:00 P. M.Everyone is invited to come down and reflect on the past year, ask for guidance in the coming year, or just sit and quietly Thank God for all that He has done for us. A Prayer for the ending of the year 2017:Psalms 51:10; Create in me even a pure heart, O God, and put within me a new spirit, a steadfast one. A Prayer for the beginning of the year 2018: John 13:34; I am giving you a new commandment, that you Love one another; just as I have Loved YOU, that you also Love one another. By this all will know that YOU are My disciple, if YOU have Love among yourselves. But also remember, knowing these words and not putting them into practice, is futile. Even the devil knows the bible. To repeat words is just routine, to live them, is Love. If you Love Christ, Love His Words, if you Love His Words, Love His People. Not just some of them, but people in general. God is no respecter of person and neither should we be. We are not to pick and choose who we are going to be Nice to, we aren't God and we can't read the insides of people. That street walker with the the scabby knees, may spend her time bowing and Praying to The Father, that person that comes to church with the holes in her clothes and stockings, may have gotten up early to wash them and make sure that at least, they were clean. That person with the shades in the winter time may be hiding unknown bruises, even that lady with the great big smile, maybe drowning inside with tears. We never know. We say we treat people as we want them to treat us, well I tell you, looking at some of us and the way we treat people, we really LOVE being abused and misused. One of my favorite scriptures; Matthew 25:40, but PLEASE remember, Matthew 25:42-45. PLAYING TIME IS OVER! This year we get another Gift, a new day, a new year, a new chance, to get it right. Don't throw it away, but if you can't, at least quit fooling yourself. Your life and future, is in YOUR hands. All we can accuse God of, is Love. You ca't get to God except through Jesus, you can't get to Jesus, except through people. God Bless Us-Everyone. See you there, and Bless you in Prayer.

Happy Holidays, Remember The Reason For The Season, Such As You Do unto Your Brothers and Sisters You Do Unto Christ, and God Bless Us-Everyone. If you think you have no Gift to give ANYONE, give EVERYONE the best Gift that you possess, the Gift of your Love. The Gift that keeps on giving, not just on Christmas Day, but each day of the year. Not just because Christ was born, but because He died for us, enabling us to have the Greatest Gift of all. Salvation and Life Everlasting-forever and eternity. Thank you and God Bless. Peace and Love to the people of planet earth. As always, no matter who's president God is still King.
