Isaiah 43:19
"Behold, I am doing a new thing..."

Perfecting Devotional Message

God specializes in creating possibilities where people only see limitations. Sometimes we become so focused on what was that we miss what God is doing now. Isaiah challenges us to pay attention. God is always at work, often in unexpected ways. New things require new vision. They require openness, flexibility, and faith. While honoring the past, we must remain attentive to what God is creating in the present.

Perfecting Thought

Faith helps us recognize what God is doing now.

Perfecting Prayer

Lord, open my eyes to the new thing You are doing.
Help me remain responsive to Your movement.

June 7 — Through the Waters

Isaiah 43:2
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you..."

Perfecting Devotional Message

Notice that God does not promise the absence of difficulty. He promises His presence within it. The waters still come. The rivers still rise. The fire still burns. Yet God's people are never abandoned. One of the greatest assurances in Scripture is not deliverance from every challenge but companionship through every challenge. God's presence changes how we experience adversity. We do not walk through life's difficulties alone.

Perfecting Thought

God's presence is greater than my circumstance.

Perfecting Prayer

Lord, thank You for walking with me through every challenge.
Help me trust Your presence even when life feels difficult.

God's relationship with us is personal. He does not engage us as a crowd but as individuals known and loved by name. In a world that often reduces people to labels, accomplishments, or failures, God reminds us of our identity. We belong to Him. This declaration is not based on our performance. It is rooted in God's covenant love. When we know who we belong to, fear loses much of its power.

Identity grows from knowing whose you are.

Perfecting Prayer

Lord, help me rest in the identity You have given me.
Remind me that I am known, loved, and called by You.

Waiting is often misunderstood. Many assume waiting means inactivity, but biblical waiting is active trust. It is remaining confident in God's timing while continuing to walk faithfully. Isaiah reminds us that those who wait on God receive renewed strength. The promise is not that we will never grow tired. The promise is that God will sustain us when we do. Strength is not found in pushing harder. It is found in trusting deeper.

Trusting God renews what exhaustion depletes.

Lord, renew my strength as I place my trust in You.
Help me wait with faith and confidence.
